Alerts and disruptions

Before you book a stay with us, please note that a number of exciting events are scheduled to take place on Cockatoo Island.

Some of these events may enhance your visit, while others may impact the experience depending on your preferences. 

  • Access to Eastern Apron and Industrial Precinct (23 September to 7 October): Due to major events taking place on Cockatoo Island, there will be limited access to the Eastern Apron and no access to the Industrial Precinct from 23 September to 7 October to allow for the set-up and pack-up of these events.

  • DJ Heartstring (26 September): This ticketed live music event will run from 4:00pm to 10:00pm on Saturday 26 September. During this period, there will be amplified noise. Find out more here.

  •  MODE Festival (4 October): This ticketed live music, dance and visual arts event will run from 12:30pm to 11:00pm om Sunday 4 October. During this period, there will be amplified noise. Find out more here. To allow for set-up and pack-up of this event there will be limited access to the Eastern Apron and no access to the Industrial Precinct from 29 September to 7 October. Furthermore, there will be no access to Camber Wharf on 4 October.
