Our ‘BYO tent’ option is an opportunity for seasoned or budget-savvy campers to pitch their own shelter at Cockatoo Island and have a have an authentic, DIY camping experience.

This option includes an unpowered 4m x 4m camping site for a maximum of 4 guests. It does not include a tent – guests must bring their own. Up to 1 extra guest can be added to a booking at an additional cost.

Booking and rates

  • Monday to Thursday – From $55 per night

  • Friday to Sunday – From $65 per night

  • Additional guest – From $15 per night
