As the witching hour approaches, you’ll journey into the supernatural realm with our popular Ghostyard Tour. Drawing on Cockatoo Island’s storied history, our guide will share macabre true stories and hair-raising paranormal tales while leading you on a quest for ghosts.
Afterwards, we’ll test your scare threshold further with a screening of a paranormal horror film in our campground cinema. We’ve lined up a mix of cult classics and modern favourites to give genre buffs of all persuasions their fright fix.
Finally, you’ll settle in for an overnight stay in our waterfront campground. But before you do...why not sit around our outdoor fire pi, toasting marshmallows, sipping hot chocolate and sharing chilling campfire tales? Pleasant dreams, happy campers!
If you spot a ghost, 'share the scare' on Instagram! Tag us (@cockatooisland) and use the hashtags #CockatooIslandGhostyard and #CockatooIsland.
