Check out Cockatoo Island's newest cafe located at Camber Wharf on the Southern Apron. The Pop-up Airstream Cafe is a family friendly environment serving a variety of sandwiches, snacks, coffee, tea and cold drinks including beer and wine.
To complement the Airstream Cafe you will also find Captain Sausage and Friends, serving original German gourmet sausages and condiments!

The Island Bar has a small family friendly area which closes at 3pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Please note that the children are not allowed in The Island Bar after this time.

Visitors are welcome to pack a picnic and soak up the vistas in one of our scenic picnic spots, both the lower and upper island have a range of shady spots.
Barbeques available for the general public to use are located in Memorial Park, opposite The Island Office.
The Campground “Camper’s Kitchen” is closed for general public use from 4.30pm Friday to midday Sunday, due to peak demand by overnight campers. Outside these hours this venue is available for hire, groups of 10 or more people require a booking.
There is a drinks machine near The Island Office, and tap water on Cockatoo Island is Sydney water and is drinkable. Please note alcohol cannot be brought onto Cockatoo Island.
