Ferries to Cockatoo Island
Sydney Ferries currently operates services to Cockatoo Island via the Balmain/Woolwich service and the Parramatta River service. Ferries depart from Circular Quay. Some services also connect to Darling Harbour or to Woolwich and Balmain.

At Circular Quay please check with Sydney Ferries staff to confirm your departure wharf (Cockatoo Island is not marked on indicator boards).
Please note that if you are travelling on a Woolwich service from Circular Quay in the morning, the ferry travels to Woolwich first and then Cockatoo Island is the first stop on the return trip to Circular Quay.

Don't forget that Cockatoo Island can be visited as part of a Family Funday Sunday ticket. For $2.50 per person you can enjoy a fun day out with unlimited travel on Sydney's buses, trains and ferries on Sundays.
