Glamping
When you don't have the equipment or much time to plan, Glamping is the way to go. It's a luxury camping experience where everything is organised for you.
Unlike traditional camping where you bring the tent and gear with you, with glamping it's all set up and ready to go on your arrival.
The package includes a pre-erected Safari Bow tent (3m x 3m), waterfront location, two camping beds and mattresses, sheets, bedding, towels, two sun lounges, side-table, cushion and a lantern.
There is a large camping kitchen is available which includes 10 x BBQ areas, a fridge, microwave and a zip boiling water system, campers need to supply their own cooking utensils, cutlery and plates. Additional camping mats and chairs can be hired from the Accommodation Office.
Enjoy a unique camping experience sleeping under the cranes of Cockatoo Island and city lights of Sydney.

Two Bedroom Glamping Packages
The two bedroom glamping packages include two tents (3m x 3m bow tents with covered middle communal living area), four camp beds (with linen, doona and towels provided), table and chairs for four people along with lanterns and an esky. Sleeps up to four people.
There is a large camping kitchen is available which includes 10 x BBQ areas, a fridge, microwave and a zip boiling water system, campers need to supply their own cooking utensils, cutlery and plates. Additional camping mats and chairs can be hired from the Camp Ground office

Camping Package
To make your visit as easy as possible for you, book a camping package and we can set up your campsite for you. All you have to bring are your sleeping bags, pillows and a torch. As soon as you arrive, you're ready to enjoy your stay instead of fussing about.
The camping package includes site hire, pre-erected tent (Campmor Hennie Dome 2.4 m x 2.4 m), 2 mattresses and 2 camping chairs. Lanterns can now be hired seperately. We recommend BYO torch. Extra sleeping mats and chairs can be hired for a fee (subject to availability). Our tents sleep up to two adults and two small children or up to three adults.

Camping Site Only
Camp at the water's edge on the northern side of Cockatoo Island and experience the magic of the harbour. The campground has fabulous harbour views towards Hunters Hill and the Parramatta River.
- Sites are unpowered and 4x4 metres each
- A maximum number of four people per site
- A large camping kitchen is available which includes 10 x BBQ areas, a fridge, microwave and a zip boiling water system.
- Campers need to supply their own cooking utensils, cutlery and plates

- Ice can also be purchased from the Camp Ground office

New Years Eve 2013
All information regarding camping and accommodation on Cockatoo Island for New Years Eve 2013 will be placed on our website in June.
For the houses and apartments, usually expressions of interest are received which then goes to ballot. All rates, terms and conditions will be advised.

Wheelchair access
The campground is located on the northern apron of the island and the area is flat with good wheelchair access around the campground. There is a disabled toilet and shower however please be aware there is a step into the tents which is not suitable for wheelchair access.
