A visit to Cockatoo Island presents rich educational opportunities for students to explore one of Sydney's most unique heritage sites. The island's spectacular built and natural landscape, convict past and industrial heritage combine to provide students with an engaging and memorable learning experience on Sydney Harbour.

Excursion programs on Cockatoo Island support students studying a range of subjects across the primary and secondary curriculum. Programs are delivered by experienced teachers and resource materials are available to support both pre- and post-visit learning.

The Outpost Project Education team invites students, teachers and youth organisations to experience Outpost through a range of programs such as workshops, tours, competitions.
