All camping sites are 4 metres x 4 metres and are allocated on arrival. Please book additional sites if your tent requires extra space.
- Maximum 4 persons per site.
- Discounts of 10% on site and equipment hire are available for stays of 7 nights or more and for groups of 12 or more.
- Bond of $100 is required for the hire of equipment. Bond refunded when equipment is returned in good order.
- Maximum stay 30 days, no return permitted within 7 days.
- Sites are allocated on arrival and are unpowered. No cooking other than at the campground kitchen is permitted.
- Tents that do not fit within the 4 metre x 4 metre site will require hire of extra site(s).
- Internal dimensions of the hire tent (Oztent RV3) are 2.4m x 2.0m.
- Cost of transportation to and from the island is not included.
New Year's Eve 2008
Cockatoo Island Camping will be open for a special family-friendly harbourside camping and fireworks experience on Cockatoo Island for New Year's Eve 2008.
$250 including GST per site (site measures 4 metres x 4 metres) for a maximum of 4 persons.
Note: the $350 camping packages have now sold out. Site-only bookings for $250 are still available (see above).
