Leasing process for Cockatoo Island
The Sydney Harbour Federation Trust has a range of buildings and facilities on Cockatoo Island that are being restored and leased to the public.
The appropriate uses of these facilities is outlined in the management plan for Cockatoo island.
The Trust undertook an Expressions of Interest (EOI) process for Cockatoo Island in 2005. From this followed a Request for Proposals (RFP). To date, several leases have been signed and there are still many opportunities available on the island.
Leasing on Cockatoo Island is governed by the Sydney Harbour Federation Trust leasing policy. This and other relevant leasing policies and guidelines can be downloaded below.
